A Minimal, Inclusive Makeup Revolution

Hi Wonderful Friend!

Beauty has been flooded with young make up lines designed for everyone to do everything. You just had to buy about 20 items to make that happen. 19/99 is here to change that. Let me tell you all about this revolution in makeup and please stay tuned for the most heartbreaking PS.

19/99 was launched during the pandemic, at a time when inclusion and connection were paramount.

With make up superstar Simone Otis leading the direction, 19/99 decided to remove everything unnecessary…including age, packaging and needless rules. 19/99 consists of colored pencils, one brush, lash tint and gel shine and nothing else.

They pared it all down. Just creamy, blendable pencils with unlimited creative options for men and women, young and old, shy and bold. Wherever you are, 19/99 will meet you there.

This is the next in make up. It’s fun and playful and reminds us all why we love in the first place. Try 19/99 now and free yourself!

Enjoy!

ps- Heartbreak. I had to say goodbye to my beloved 12-year old French Bulldog, Matteo, this week. For those of you who knew Matteo, you know this is a seismic loss.

You see, Matteo had opinions and standards more like a magazine editor rather than a canine. He had no interest in the park and would rather take his walks on the shoe floor of Bergdorf’s or William Sonoma where he would take time to admire the glass wear section (never quite figured that one out).

Matteo loved to entertain in one of his custom made robes (thank you Debbie) and get dressed in endless outerwear combinations. He was a party wherever he went and if he loved you, you most certainly knew.

Matteo made everything better. His presence healed my heart and the hearts of those who needed him.

His favorite thing above all was our building, Addison Hall, and his family here who loved him fiercely. And on that dreaded Monday night, they formed an impromptu processional. His beloved doormen and a family of friends and dogs carried him off to a place where he is now at peace and experiencing a comfort he could no longer find on earth.

I miss him terribly and I don’t think this feeling will ever really go away. Just like the affect he had on me and everyone else he encountered. Matteo lived and loved very big for such a little guy and always made it clear what made him happy. He made the most of his short time with us. It’s a great reminder.

MATTEO FOREVER.
