Sensual Sportswear

Hi Wonderful Friend!

You recognize this bag, yes?!

It’s Le Chiquito bag by Jacquemus. Designed by Simon Porte Jacquemus, above. The untrained French designer produced a bag and clothing line at the age of 19 in 2009 after his beloved mother’s sudden and unexpected death. Dedicated to her warm and playful nature and his upbringing in the South of France, Jacquemus has been an unquestionable hit ever since.

His first commercial line was hung in a showroom in Tokyo in 2011 where a Rei Kowakuba left beautiful comments about the line. Not knowing who he was, Jacquemus googled Kowakuba and found out he was the creator of Commes de Garcon and an undisputed fashion icon.

He contacted Kowakuba immediately and begged for a job in their Paris store as a salesperson in order to work on his line. It worked and now Jacquemus is hugely successful.

As his bags took off, he made them smaller and smaller and smaller.

Instagram and every human model loved them and apparently Nike did too.

Nike has since tapped Jacquemus to create a sportswear with sensuality, femininity and it is about to launch.

In true Jacquemus fashion, he shrank the swoosh and made these Nike Humara’s sweet and sexy.

Check them out below in suede below on the right and don’t miss the tiny swoosh in the gold chain across the back of a very cool tennis dress.

It’s dropping June 28 and will most likely sell out June 28 so check Jacquemus frequently and also follow him on IG for some serious beauty and inspiration.

Jacquemus and his late mother Valerie.

Enjoy!
