A Met Gala Reminder
Hi Wonderful Friend!
I’m checking in with you this Monday afternoon to remind you of the MET GALA this evening.
The MET GALA is the Super Bowl of fashion. A night when hand selected celebrities go pro, utilizing the best and brightest designers and hair/make up artists the industry has to offer.
It is arguably the most important night in fashion and this year, we need it more than ever.
No one has a clue as to what fashion will look like next year or the year after that or even the year after that.
Fashion used to have a rhythm and Covid 19 upended the flow. Tonight is the first real comeback and I encourage you to pay attention to AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE, this year’s Met Gala theme.
After coming off a heartbreaking 20th anniversary weekend of September 11th, tonight feels like it could be the night when things start really getting better. Fashion is hope and it propels us into the future while distracting us with heels, feathers and eye shadow. Creativity gets to speak about what’s coming next and what America will look like after we have all been through so much.
