We have all been pretty serious for quite some time.

Feelings of happiness and joy are going to take some effort right now and, you know what, that’s ok.

The Met Gala did not disappoint. It was the brightly colored, pretty ridiculous fashion spectacle I had been longing for.

It looks like face masks will be in our future for quite some time.

Although it’s a very serious accessory, I hope you have had your fun with florals, clever tag lines, faux smiley faces and sequined lips.

Match your masks to your tie, to your floral print…really fun. You be you. Make a statement and co-ordinate it nicely. All that is great.

Where to shop? It seems we are are a little lost in where to find items to make us feel shiny and new at the moment. Big brands feel like the past. High-end designer are getting interesting but still feel too far out of reach. So what feels fresh and accessible?

What happens when you want more from life? You may try this or buy that for a temporary, random fix, feeling a slight improvement until it fades away and then you need another something again.
